A rural property with a modest front aspect reveals a contemporary extension that opens entirely onto the garden. The brief was to make the most of the owners love of plants and the outdoors meeting the requirements of an active family.

The two storey extension creates a large living space off the semi open-plan dining and kitchen area and a new master bedroom and ensuite upstairs with a pitched ceiling and roof windows to the stars.
Wood is a material used throughout, from the bespoke fitted sycamore planks lining the internal window and the archway to the light fittings and furnishings.
Whether I am working with structural engineers to incorporate more light into a space, reconfiguring internal layouts to create a garden aspect or putting together a colour and materials scheme, the influence of nature is one of my guiding principles.

A timeless bespoke kitchen combining vintage character with modern family living.
Creating flexible living spaces with contemporary lighting while preserving the charm and character of this historic cottage.
A cohesive whole-home transformation blending period elegance with contemporary comfort.
